J-Jaz Services and Training specialise in providing a consultation service to smaller Companies (less than 50 employees) we carry out a full Health and Safety Inspection of the premises and the role of the Company. We look at all your processes and procedures and will then design specific policies and procedures to ensure regulations are being adhered to, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and Method Statements.
We can carry out training in all sizes of companies to increase awareness and personal responsibility and enhance the company’s policy statement. Safety is everyone’s responsibility – not just management.

Consulting
If you want us to design and build your Management Manual on Health and Safety we will be happy to visit you at your premises and quote you.
A basic set up will cost £600, this will include policy, procedures, generic risk assessments and safe system of works.
Full Support Package
We will take control of all your health and safety needs including, specific risk assessments, safety inspections and training and much more.

Courses
Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH)
Foundation Certificate on Health and Safety in the Workplace - £100 per person
Minimum on course: 6 persons
Maximum on course: 12 persons
This is a full day package which may be split over 2 days to suit your workplace.
We cover topics such as Health and Safety at Work, Health and Safety Law, Accidents and Ill Health, Workplace Safety and Occupational Health Welfare and Safety.
An extra day could be added to cover specific risk assessment training to include DSE, Manual Handling, COSHH and more.
All subjects will cover a basic introduction package to new employees in the workplace.
This course cost does not includes certificate fee to the CIEH of £15 per person.
The course is a 6 hour training package and may be conducted on one day or split down over 2 half days, several evenings sessions may be considered).
Ideal candidates are your Health and Safety Representatives who will carry out your day to day duties in ensuring the safety of your employees at work.
Best suited to organisations that wish to promote a good safety culture to its employees, plus reduce the risk of injury and ill health. Ideal students are your Health and Safety Committee, Supervisors, Managers and Company Director’s.
Bespoke Training Courses
Training courses designed for your specific workplace tasks. There are no minimum or maximum numbers although your venue must allow students to be seated and have room to carry out practical tasks if required - £250 half day and £400 full day
Training courses may include risk assessments, safe systems of work, method statements and control of substances hazard to health and more. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
We would be happy to design and deliver a training course that is totally bespoke to your business e.g. a piece of machinery specialist to your workplace, please contact us for a quote.
Timings are dictated by subject and student numbers, on average each course will be half or a full day.
